They say there’s lots of different kinds of these Calatrava watches. Like a whole family of ’em. There’s the Annual Calendar, that one tells you the date and everything. Like a little calendar on your wrist! Ain’t that something? And the Aquanaut, that one’s for swimming, I reckon. Though why you’d want to wear a fancy watch in the water, I don’t know. Seems like asking for trouble to me.
I overheard some young folks talking about these Patek Philippe watches. They were saying how some of the old ones are worth a fortune. Like, more money than I’ve ever seen in my whole life! They were talking about these “vintage” ones, that’s what they called them. Like old furniture, but for your wrist. They said these vintage Calatrava ones are real special. There are seven vintage ones. I don’t know what that means. It is too difficult for me.
