You know what? I saw something shiny the other day, that OMEGA Speedmaster 38mm. They say it’s from the official flagship store. Sounds fancy, huh? Well, I ain’t never been to no fancy store, but that watch, it sure looked pretty.
Folks are talking about this Speedmaster 38mm thing. It is a watch. That is what they say. I guess, if you got money to spend, this OMEGA watch is something you can buy. I heard someone say it is “classic”. I guess that means it’s been around for a while, like me!
They got this watch in gold and something called steel. My old man used to have a steel watch that was all beat up. Don’t think this is a steel watch you wear it when you’re farming. The OMEGA store got the Speedmaster 38mm. That is what I heard. But I do not know where the OMEGA store is.

Someone said this here watch is 38mm. My grandson, he told me that means how big around it is. I don’t know. I don’t know about these size things. I just know it looks good. And this 38mm Speedmaster, it’s just the right size, not too big, not too small, just right. Like a good apple pie. They call this the OMEGA Speedmaster 38 mm Collection. Sounds like a lot of watches.
Now, they say this OMEGA Speedmaster, it’s got diamonds on it. Diamonds! Can you believe that? Putting diamonds on a watch. Back in my day, we were lucky to have shoes on our feet. But them young folks, they like their shiny things. It is “embellished” with diamonds. I think that means it is decorated with diamonds. They also said “the goal was to turn heads”. I guess they want people to look at the watch.
I heard some folks talking ’bout some “used” ones. They call them Speedmaster Reduced. Like it’s been shrunk down or something. They say they don’t make those no more. Discontinued, that’s the word they used. But they are 38mm too, and they look like this new one, they say. I guess, if you want to save some money, you can buy the old Speedmaster Reduced.
They got a new one, this Speedmaster 38mm, they just came out with. And it’s gold. Lots of gold, they say. Adding gold, that’s what they said. They want people to buy this gold watch. These new ones, they’re probably more money than I got in my whole life. But they sure are pretty.
I heard some fella say that this watch, this OMEGA Speedmaster 38mm, is the only one they make that size that’s “masculine.” Now, what does that mean? Does that mean it is only for men? I don’t know. Sounds a little strange to me. My neighbor, she wears a man’s watch. No one says nothin’ about it. But this 38mm Speedmaster is for men, that is what they say.
Now this one fella, he said he saw it in a store in a place called Dubai. They call this place Dubai mall. He said it was some kinda special price. After discount, he said. Whatever that means. Sounds like a good deal, I guess. But Dubai, that’s far away. I ain’t never been to Dubai. I don’t think I will ever see this OMEGA Speedmaster 38mm.
Someone said they made this Speedmaster Reduced until 2009. That was a long time ago. I was still working the fields back then. Now I am too old to work. I just sit and look at the birds. If I have this OMEGA Speedmaster watch, maybe I will look at the watch instead.
There is this other watch called Speedmaster Automatic. It is 39mm. That is a little bigger than this 38mm one. But it is not 42mm. They said 42mm is too big. They call 42mm watch Speedmaster Professional. I think this one is for people who work. Like a professional job. But I am not a professional. So I do not need this watch.
Well, that’s all I heard about this OMEGA Speedmaster 38mm. It’s a lot of talk for a watch, ain’t it? But it’s something to talk about, I guess. Better than talking about the weather. This 38mm Speedmaster is a good watch, I think. Even if you have big wrists, they said it will still look good. I have small wrists. So maybe it is a good watch for me.
If you got the money, and you want a shiny watch, maybe this OMEGA Speedmaster 38mm is for you. Or maybe you want to buy from the official flagship store. I don’t know what that is. But it sounds important. I just know it’s a pretty watch. And that’s all that matters to me. They said this watch will “turn heads”. I guess that is a good thing.
