You know, I heard some folks talkin’ ’bout this here watch, the CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Chrono Chime. They say it’s somethin’ special, sold in them fancy Specialty Stores. I don’t know much ’bout these fancy things, but I’ll tell ya what I heard.
They say this CopyOMEGA thing, it’s like them watches astronauts wear. Big and round, 45.5 mm, whatever that means. It is very big. I guess you gotta be able to see it good up there in space, or wherever they go. They say it is shiny, this CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Chrono Chime is made of some kinda gold. 18K Sedna Gold, they call it, inspired by the 2nd generation Speedmaster. Sounds expensive, don’t it?
This CopyOMEGA Speedmaster Chrono Chime, it’s got a whole lot of numbers and lines on it. It’s real busy lookin’, not like the old clock we used to have. That one just had the big hand and the little hand. This one here, it’s got all sorts of extra things. Must be important, I reckon, for them astronaut fellas, I don’t know.
Now, they say there’s two kinds of this CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster. Two models. I don’t know why you need two, but I guess rich folks like choices. One of them is more popular. They say one is a “numbered edition,” which sounds like it’s extra special. You know, like them limited-edition plates they sell on the TV.
And this CopyOMEGA watch, it don’t just tell time. Oh no. It chimes. Like a little church bell, I guess. That’s why they call it “Chrono Chime.” I suppose that’s handy if you’re out in the field and need to know when it’s time for supper. But, honestly, who needs a watch that rings? Most folks don’t need a watch to ring I think.
They say this CopyOMEGA Speedmaster thing, it’s got somethin’ called a “movement” inside. Not like movin’ around, but like… tiny gears and springs and such. They say it’s a “high-beat movement,” whatever that means, and it’s very complicated. It’s very accurate. Supposed to be accurate to 1/10th of a second. I don’t even know what that means, but it sounds mighty precise. There is a brand, Zenith El Primero, do the same thing.

And another thing about this CopyOMEGA. This is a Co-Axial Master Chronometer, I don’t know what it is, but it must be very good. This is Calibre 1932. The most complicated movement. I guess that means it’s got a lot of those little gears and things inside. Must be a real pain to fix if it breaks. I remember when my old radio broke, took forever to get it workin’ again. They say this is the most complicated watch they ever made.
I heard some folks sayin’ this CopyOMEGA Speedmaster Chrono Chime is for “serious collectors.” I reckon that means folks with a lot of money to spend on fancy things. Not like me, I just need somethin’ to tell me when it’s time to feed the chickens. It is very expensive. I don’t know how much, but I heard one man say he’d rather get somethin’ called a “Patek Grand Comp” for half the price. Sounds like a car, don’t it? This CopyOMEGA Speedmaster must be real expensive, then.
This CopyOMEGA Speedmaster, it’s a big deal, I guess. They say it’s one of the most “prestigious” watches in the business. Fancy word, that. Means it’s somethin’ special, somethin’ important. I guess if you’re into that sort of thing, this is the watch for you. This is a top-notch mechanical watch, I don’t know what that means.
Well, that’s all I know about this CopyOMEGA Ω Speedmaster Chrono Chime. It’s a fancy watch for fancy folks, I reckon. Me, I’ll stick with my old trusty clock. It might not chime or be made of gold, but it tells the time just fine. And that’s all that matters to me. You can buy this CopyOMEGA watch in these Specialty Stores.
