Had all these little tools and things. Looked like a doctor operatin’ on someone. Takes a lot of work to keep them runnin’, he said. But these ain’t just any watches, he said. These are special.
They are used by those space folks, ya know. Astronauts. Heard they wear ’em on their missions. Said they need a good watch up there. One that won’t break. These Omega Speedmaster Skywalker watches, they’re tough, she said. Like my old boots. They last forever. Or at least, that’s what she tells me.
I still think my old clock works just fine. But she says these new watches are better. More accurate, she says. Like they know the time better than anything else. I don’t know about that.
