So, I’ve been wanting to get my hands on a decent CopyOMEGA Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch for a while now. You know, the classic style with the sapphire crystal. It’s not the real deal, but it looks close enough, and I’m not about to drop a fortune on a watch right now. Anyway, I finally decided to pull the trigger and get one.
First off, I started searching all over the internet. There are a ton of places selling these things. It was tough to figure out which ones were legit and which were just going to send me junk. I spent hours reading reviews, comparing prices, and trying to spot any red flags. Finally settled on one that had some good feedback, seemed reliable, and was not too costly. I found a website and checked all the details they provided, and it looked great. I paid for it with my credit card, that was easy.
A few days later, a package arrived. I was excited to open it up. The watch was inside, wrapped in bubble wrap. I got it all unwrapped and took a good look at it. It looked pretty sharp!
The dial markings and the logo, they’re crisp. Not blurry or anything. I had been looking at pictures of real Speedmasters online, so I had a good idea of what to expect. This one definitely looks the part.
I put the watch on. I had to adjust the bracelet a little to make it fit comfortably. The bracelet on this one is a five-arched-links-per-row type. It’s got a nice weight to it, doesn’t feel cheap.
Now, about the movement. This copy uses a hand-wound movement, I think they call it the Caliber 1861. It’s not automatic, so you have to wind it up every day. It runs at 21, I’m pretty sure that’s what it said.

I know it’s not the Calibre 3861, which is apparently a big deal because it’s related to the watch worn on the moon. This copycat has the 1861, which is still decent. The case back also looks like it has some kind of laser etching, which must be some detail copied from the real ones. They say that’s supposed to help tell if it’s a fake, but I’m not sure how much that actually matters with these copies.
Overall, I’m pretty happy with it. It’s a good-looking watch, keeps time well enough, and didn’t break the bank. It’s not a genuine OMEGA, but for the price, it’s a solid copy. Now I wear it everyday and enjoy it a lot.

If you want to get one, do your research first. There’s a lot of junk out there. Just take your time, be patient, and you’ll find a good one. Check the dial, the logo, the bracelet, and try to get one with a decent movement like the 1861. Good luck!
