Okay, so, I’ve been eyeing the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin Perpetual Calendar for a while now. It’s just such a beautiful piece, and I’ve always wanted a really nice watch. I wasn’t sure if it would be a good investment but saw online that some limited edition models have gone up in price on the secondary market.
First, I started doing a bunch of research online, you know, just browsing forums and watch blogs. I wanted to get a feel for what other people thought about the watch and whether it was worth the price tag. A lot of people seemed to love it and said it was a great luxury watch to start with. Also, apparently, they’re pretty reliable and hold their value well, so that was a plus.
Then, I started looking at the specs. The case is 39mm in diameter and 9.4mm thick, which seemed like a good size for my wrist. Some models were slightly thicker, like the 40mm, 10.95mm one. I saw some discussion comparing it to the Master Ultra Thin Moon, but I was already set on the Perpetual Calendar.
I spent some time checking out different online stores, but I was a bit hesitant to buy such an expensive watch online. I mean, we’re talking about a serious chunk of change here! But there were so many listings. I just wanted to see and feel it in person.
So, I decided to visit a local watch shop that carries Jaeger-LeCoultre. I tried on the Master Ultra Thin Perpetual Calendar, and man, it was even more stunning in person. The craftsmanship is just incredible, and it felt great on my wrist. I was pretty much sold at that point.
I talked to the salesperson for a bit, and they gave me some more information about the watch and its movement. They also showed me some similar models, but I kept coming back to the Perpetual Calendar. It just had this classic, timeless look that I loved. A lot of people were talking about whether to get the Master Control, but I didn’t give it a thought. There were a bunch of random questions online about the Master Ultra Thin Date, but that’s not for me.
After thinking it over for a few days, I finally pulled the trigger and bought the watch. I’ve been wearing it for a few weeks now, and I’m absolutely loving it. It’s such a pleasure to wear, and it always puts a smile on my face when I look down at my wrist. It might have cost me a pretty penny, but I’m happy with my decision. It’s a great conversation starter and just feels so luxurious. Plus, I figured it was a decent investment, considering how well these watches seem to hold their value.
I am so happy with my purchase, and this piece will be staying on my wrist for a long time to come!
