Bottom aeration combined with
beneficial bacteria is the best prescription you can get for your
pond. A bottom aerated pond can support vast amounts of
aerobic sludge eating bacteria that break down and oxidize sludge
and debris on the bottom of your pond. This creates a low
nutrient load which means less fertilizer for unwanted plants and
algae growth. In turn this creates an ideal environment for
fish or your own pond needs.
